Symptom

  • After upgrading to SAP S/4HANA 2025, users encounter a total failure when launching specific Fiori applications (particularly URL-type or BTP-integrated apps like Group Reporting Data Collection).
    • Error Message: "Sorry, the app couldn't be opened... The navigation target of the app could not be resolved."
    • Transaction /UI2/FLPAM (App Manager): Displays the technical error "No descriptor was found" for the affected Technical Catalog.
    • Browser Console (F12): Shows an HTTP 404 Not Found for the resource /sap/public/bc/ui5_ui5/resources/sap-ui-cachebuster.
    • Scope: The issue typically affects apps that worked perfectly in S/4HANA 2020, 2022, or 2023.
