3752652 - Master data incremental load does not trigger after I move to SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

After migrating from SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) to SAP S/4HANA, I notice that master data changes made in SAP ERP — such as updates to cost centers, general ledgers, vendors, and assets — are not being picked up by the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network incremental load. Full loads execute correctly, but incremental loads do not trigger and changes are not replicated to SAP Ariba solutions. No error message is displayed in the application.

While investigating further, I find that in transaction SWEL (Display Event Trace), after making a test master data change, the event log shows the respective event with the following message: Event queued because of missing RFC destination.

No failed entries appear in transaction SM58 because the event is queued before any tRFC is dispatched — the absence of SM58 errors does not indicate that the event was processed correctly.
