Symptom

  • Maintaining a new GCP is blocked by an existing country prefix with a similar pattern.
  • Deleting the existing country prefix is not possible due to dependent objects.
  • Attempting to use transaction /STTP/GCP_MGMT with the "Change Prefix Type" option to convert the country prefix to GCP fails.
  • Error message: "Changing GCP type from country prefix to GCP not supported below 6 digits"
