Symptom
- In Payroll Control Center (PCC), the validation rule framework does not offer a native function to apply round‑up to two decimals based on the third decimal (for example, 123.455 → 123.46) as part of a standard expression.
- Customers who need this rounding behavior currently implement tolerance-based comparisons between the Payroll Amount and a calculated value, checking whether the difference is greater than 0.01 or less than -0.01 to avoid false positives caused by decimal discrepancies.
- This workaround makes validation rules more complex and harder to maintain, and customers request a standard “Rounding Function” in PCC Configuration Workbench to align PCC results with payroll rounding logic.
