3752961 - Rehire with new employment button not working after 1H2026 release

Symptom

Rehire with new employment button is not showing in Accept Match scenario in case of rehiring contingent worker as regular employee

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Rehire Inactive employee
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Contingent Workforce Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Rehire sample inactive contingent user from Add New Employee by Accept Match
  2. Rehire with new employment button is not showing for 2605 release instance

Resolution

  • Product Engineering team has checked the same and suggested that permission Rehire Inactive Employee with New Employment (by 'match' in New Recruit) is required for accept match option to appear. Please check role and grant permission to user to work it correctly

Workaround

Enable permission Rehire Inactive Employee with New Employment (by 'match' in New Recruit).
