Unable to plan costs and resources in apps F3215 Project Control – Enterprise and F3822 Project Planning; no WBS tab available for plan cost or resource/labor planning; no error messages mentioned.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create an Enterprise Project.
2. Go to Related Apps and select Project Planning (F3822).
3. Click the Edit icon.
4. Open the details for a WBS element.
5. Look for tabs to plan costs or resources.
6. Observe that no tab is available to plan costs or resources for the WBS.

The Project Planning app is focused on WBS structure and timeline planning and does not provide manual plan cost or resource/labor planning tabs in the WBS detail screen.

1. Use the Manage Project Demand process for labor/resource planning: create resource, service, or material demands and assign them to the relevant enterprise project/WBS.
2. Review planned costs and financials through the project financial control/reporting process (for example, via Project Control – Enterprise and related financial reporting apps).
3. Continue to use the Project Planning app for WBS structure and timeline planning; the absence of dedicated plan cost/resource tabs in this screen is by design.
