3753183 - No RelayState mapping found for RelayState value .... - SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

Symptom

There is a need to configure SSO for the Cloud Identity Services tenant, where the target application is S/4HANA Cloud (including deep links such as #value). During the configuration, the following error is returned on the S/4HANA side:

"No RelayState mapping found for RelayState value ...."

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

For the S/4HANA system, the RelayState value cannot be configured as a URL, as it is expected to be an alias that references the target URL. A mapping between the RelayState alias and the corresponding URL must be maintained in the S/4HANA configuration.

To create the RelayState mapping in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system, please open a case under component XX-S4C-OPR-INC.
