3753379 - Output item remains "in preparation" after merging warehouse orders; printing not triggered automatically - SAP s/4hana cloud public edition

• The output item remains in status "In Preparation" when a warehouse order is created by merging multiple warehouse orders in Warehouse Monitor.
• Automatic printing is not initiated for the newly merged warehouse order.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Warehouse Monitor and navigate to Documents -> Warehouse Order.
2. Select multiple warehouse orders and merge them to create a new warehouse order.
3. Open the new warehouse order and check the Output Items; the status remains "In Preparation".

The behavior is designed. 

In the standard system, merging Warehouse Orders does not automatically initiate printing. This is because the original Warehouse Orders have already been printed. To prevent printing duplicate documents, the system does not automatically reprint the same Warehouse Tasks after a merge. As a result, any merged Warehouse Order must be printed manually after the user collected and discarded the previous printouts.
