Symptom

  • Differences are observed between the standard date formats described in the Help Portal (Date Formats for Different Locales | SAP Help Portal) and the formats displayed in the system (e.g. Canadian locale.)
  • The Help Portal lists "yyyy-mm-dd" for Canadian, while the UI displays dates like "May 11, 2015".
  • Other locales display simpler numeric formats (for example, "dd.mm.yyyy").
