3753670 - An error is encountered when trying to save Snowflake JDBC Connection in Information Design Tool

Symptom

  • When attempting to save or edit Snowflake JDBC connections through repository resources in the Information Design Tool (IDT), the following error occurs: 
    "Unable to retrieve connection Description: com.crystaldecisions.thirdparty.org.omg.CORBA.UNKNOWN minor code: 0x0"
  • The error is not encountered when IDT preferences are configured to use local middleware.
