Symptom
In a print queue, under "Used in Output Rules", the specific rule (eg: Changed Purchase Order) is displayed even though no rules are maintained in Output Channel Selection.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Application and User Management work center.
- Go to the Print Queue view.
- Check the Used in Output Rules section.
- Notice that the document type (for example, S02 - Changed Purchase Order) is still displayed even though no active rule exists in Output Channel Selection.
Cause
The rule changes in Output Channel Selection were not activated, so the old entry continued to appear in the Print Queue.
Resolution
- Go to Application and User Management work center.
- Navigate to Output Channel Selection view.
- Select the required document type (for example, Changed Purchase Order).
- Edit and verify the rule settings.
- Choose Save and Activate to apply the changes.
- Reopen the Print Queue and confirm that the rule no longer appears under Used in Output Rules.
