3753801 - Not possible to delete outbound delivery related to intercompany sales order

Outbound delivery related to an advanced intercompany sales order cannot be deleted in transaction VL02N. After reversing all the subsequent documents related to the delivery and trying to delete the document, an ABAP dump for TIME_OUT occurs.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. In transaction VL02N, open an outbound delivery that is related to an intercompany sales order.
2. Make sure there is not subsequent document related to the delivery and it's on 'Open' status.
3. Choose to delete the outbound delivery and save.
4. The system processes for a long time and ends with an ABAP short dump.

The timeout occurs due to a very large number of items in the outbound delivery.

1. Open the outbound delivery in transaction VL02N.
2. Delete approximately 50% of the delivery items and save.
3. Delete the remaining items and save.
4. After the items are removed, delete the delivery header and save.

Note: If needed, repeat item deletion in smaller batches to avoid timeout.
