3753819 - Payment information latest UI shows all country details

Symptom

  • After enabling the latest UI for the Payment Information card in the latest people profile, multiple country-specific “Payment Information Detail” sections (for example, UK, US, France) are displayed even if they are not intended for use.
  • In the legacy edit UI, only the intended country’s Payment Information Detail was displayed.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In Admin Center, enable the latest editing UI for the Payment Information card in the latest people profile.
  2. Open the Payment Information and click on edit.
  3. Observe that multiple country-specific Payment Information Detail sections appear, including countries not intended for use.

Cause

In the new payment information UI, country-specific Payment Information Detail sections are displayed by default unless MDF metadata rules are configured to control visibility. Hiding non-relevant country details requires metadata rules.

Resolution

  1. Download EC Payment Information - Rules Configuration Files from Software Center
  2. Configure the rules as per the steps mentioned in Settings of Metadata Rules | Help Portal
  3. Measure they steps for configuring each rule is strictly followed.
