- Some candidates encounter an application error when attempting to apply for a job requisition from Saved Applications.

Reproducing the Issue
- In Candidate Profile, click on Saved Applications.
- Select and open the application in draft.
- Observe that an application error is displayed.
The error may also occur when applying from the job posting page if the application has been saved.
Cause
This is a Known Issue.
In a rare/edge scenario, the candidate's application retained a stale reference to an old resume or cover letter that has already been deleted.
Resolution
The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.
In the interim, a patch is currently being prepared to address the issue. This KBA will be updated with the patch deployment schedule once it is finalized.

Workaround
Different workarounds may be possible depending on the scenario:
- Ask the candidate to re-apply directly from the job posting page. (Please note that the error may still occur even when applying via this method.)
- If feasible, delete the candidate profile and create a new profile before re-applying.
