3754038 - 1H 2026 - Restart e-Signature Step for Document Flows will not be available in Production Environment

Symptom

  • The new enhancement related to Restart e-Signature Step for Document Flows is unavailable in Production
  • Restart Onboarding Step for E-Signature permission is granted to responsible user, yet, there is no option to restart e-signature
  • This option is available and working in Preview environment but it is not available in Production system

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1H 2026

Cause

  • This is a known issue.
  • The Engineering Team has identified potential regression risks that could impact the hiring cycle and negatively affect the user experience. As a precaution, this feature has not yet been released to Production environments.
  • Once these potential risks have been fully addressed, we will ensure the feature is made available in Production systems.

Resolution

  • Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Conditions to trigger restart e-signature

Onboarding document flow step restart works in below cases:

  1.     If document flow status is completed or skipped, user can restart the document flow.
  2.     If document flow is triggered after release and is in status in-progress, user can restart the document flow.
  3.     If document flow was triggered before release and is still in-progress after release, user will not be able to restart this document flow. This document flow needs to be declined to regenerate the documents again.
