3754041 - Partial POD posting with Valuated Stock in Transit (SIT)

Symptom

  • After posting the Goods Issue (PGI) for the Delivery and then confirming Proof of Delivery (POD) with a partial quantity leaves the remaining quantity untracked and not returned to unrestricted stock.
  • In VLPOD, quantity differences are entered but the process does not adjust stock as expected for the remaining quantity.
  • Valuated stock in transit (Movement type 687) is involved.
  • Error message may occur: M7021 "Deficit of & & & &".
