3754048 - Find Employee by Group option is not available when assigning Team Goals - 1H26

Symptom

When using Advanced Search option upon assigning team goals, the Group field is missing. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open Goal plan and click Manage team Goal 

2. Choose a goal and click on the three dots > Click on assign 

3. Click Via Search and open the Advanced Search 

4. See that among fields, Group field is not available

NOTE: Providing permission Manage Employee Dynamic Groups is a prerequisite to make this field available. If issue is still present after this permission is provided, below cause applies.

Cause

This is expected behavior. 

Resolution

The Group search in the Advanced Criteria section is not yet supported in Enhanced People Search.

Current recommendation:

  • Consider using alternative filter criteria available in Enhanced People Search (such as Department, Division, Location, Employment Status) to approximate your desired population scope where applicable.
  • If group search is critical for your business processes, please submit an Influence Request via the SAP Customer Influence portal to prioritize this capability for a future release.

Workaround

Disable Enhanced People Search in Company System and Logo Settings tool.
