3754215 - Error: "Securities account not defined in company code ABC" is raised when creating a Securities Transaction

Symptom

When creating a Securities transaction, error is shown: "Securities account not defined in company code ABC"

(ABC represents the Company code)

 "Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Financial Transactions app.
  2. Fill all the required data for a Securities transaction and execute the order.
  3. Error is raised.

Cause

On Manage Securities Accounts app, for Company ABC, Securities Account Number is missing, as of the image below:

Resolution

For Company ABC, maintain a Securities Account Number on the Manage Securities Account app and save. When creating the Securities transaction again, the error message will not be raised.
