3754283 - unchecking read for one dimension in role removes read from all dimensions - SAP Analytics Cloud

• Editing a custom role to remove the Read permission for a single dimension results in Read being removed for all dimensions.
• After saving, the message “Role changes saved successfully” appears, but Read is removed for all dimensions.
• No errors appear in the browser console; the checkbox behavior in the role editor is not working properly.
• The first attempt may uncheck most dimensions, while a subsequent attempt may behave correctly.

SAP Analytics Cloud - SAC Administration

1. Open Security > Roles.
2. Open a planning role.
3. In the data access section for dimensions, uncheck the Read permission for one dimension.
4. Save the role.
5. Observe that Read (and potentially other permissions) become unchecked for all dimensions.
