3754387 - Getting an application error while editing existing absence

An Application error is occurring while editing the existing absence

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Employee profile.
2. Navigate to Time Management -> Administer Time.
3. Edit Absence with time type "A" to "B".
4. Click on Save -> Error occurs.

The fix is scheduled for 2H 2026 release.

Workaround:

• Navigate to Configure Objection Definition > open the related country specific 'Employee Time' (say Employee Time MEX) > set the visibility of field 'externalCode' as 'Not Visible' > Save

OR

• Cancel the existing absence and create a new absence.
