3754389 - Bank name and bank branch fields not being updated in Import Bank Directory App - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

After uploading a format JP1 - JBA (ZENGINKYO) via the Import Bank Directory App, the bank name (BANK_NAME) and bank branch fields (BRANCH_NAME) are not updated.

1. Navigate to Import Bank Directory App.
2. Select the format JP1 - JBA (ZENGINKYO), upload a file that contains bank name and branch name. 
3. Observe that the bank name (BANK_NAME) and bank branch fields (BRANCH_NAME) are not updated.

• The bank name and bank branch fields are not updated after the file was loaded since the parameter "Maintain Extended Address" is not selected. 
• The bank name and bank branch in Manage Banks - Master Data App are stored in two separate data base tables which are BNKA and ADRC. The data in ADRC is always prioritize over that of BNKA. In case the parameter "Maintain Extended Address" was not selected, the system will only update the data in BNKA hence the data displayed in the application still is still retrieved from ADRC table. Only when the parameter "Maintain Extended Address" is selected, both data for BNKA and ADRC will be updated simultaneously.

• Make sure that the parameter "Maintain Extended Address" is maintained before the format JP1 - JBA (ZENGINKYO) file is uploaded.
• In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, it is recommended that the parameter "Maintain Extended Address" is maintained in all cases.
