3754428 - AFS - Release rule 100% grouping: incomplete PO group orders move to 'F' instead of staying in 'R' — SAP ERP

Symptom

  • Release rule with 100% grouping (for example, by order type, sold-to, PO number, and requested delivery date) allows some sales orders to be fully allocated (MRP status F) even when at least one order in the same group lacks sufficient inventory.
  • Expected behavior: all grouped orders remain in MRP status R until complete inventory is available for the entire group.
  • Observed behavior: orders with enough stock move to F while short orders remain R.
  • No specific application error messages are shown.
