3754604 - SAP GUI HTML Control - PDF preview is empty after a Windows update

Symptom

  • PDF display does not work correctly when using the Browser Control Edge (based on Chromium) in SAP GUI 8.00 64-bit.
  • In transaction me23n, after selecting print preview and typing "PDF!" in the search box, the PDF preview popup appears empty.
  • Users cannot select PDF print preview and save in the popup.
  • The issue does not occur when using the Internet Explorer browser control option.
  • No specific error messages are shown.
