3754642 - Country/Region-Specific Dependent Configuration Switch Is Not Visible- 1H 2026

With 1H 2026 on the new enhancement ECT-257360 - Introducing Country/Region-Specific Dependent Configuration

• The switch to enable it is not visible in Admin Center  > Manage Employee Central Settings > Person, Employment and Worker Type
• You've enabled the new feature in the instance, but it got disabled automatically as of 18th May 2026

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Dependent Management

1. Enabled the switch 'Country/Region-Specific Dependent Relationship Information' via Admin Center  > Manage Employee Central Settings > Person, Employment and Worker Type
2. As of 18th May, the feature switch is no longer present and if it was already enabled previously, it is reverted back to non-country specific dependents.

This is a known issue.

• Product engineering identified a defect due to which the feature was disabled in the instances from the backend.
• The fix for the defect is scheduled on  26th May 2026 in Preview instances and 28th May 2026 in Production Instances.

Until the patch fix

• Do not add any new dependent information for employees.

After the patch fix

1. The switch will be available in Admin Center  > Manage Employee Central Settings > Person, Employment and Worker Type
2. If any dependent data was added, then take backup & delete this already existing dependent data in the instance.
3. Enabled the switch 'Country/Region-Specific Dependent Relationship Information' via Admin Center  > Manage Employee Central Settings > Person, Employment and Worker Type
4. Add the data back again (if dependent data was already added earlier), else proceed in using the feature by adding new data.
