3754669 - SAP Fiori App Does Not Auto-Open in Browser After npm start in BAS

Symptom

After running npm start, the development server starts successfully but the application does not automatically open in the browser. The terminal shows Server started with no errors, but no browser tab is launched.

Manually clicking the URL in the terminal opens the apps folder/directory view instead of the application.
