3754747 - Advanced Workflow scripts fail due to case-sensitive field access in result set

Symptom

  • Existing workflow code starts failing after a change in behavior where field access and/or the contain check are treated as case sensitive. SQL result set returns column names in uppercase (for example, TITLE), while the script accesses them in lowercase (for example, row.title), resulting in null values and logic failures. Also, Workflows become stuck in the same status and do not complete.
  • Accessing uppercase field names (for example, row.TITLE) returns values, while lowercase (for example, row.title) fails.
