3754945 - Error displayed when user tries to login into Workzone using Microsoft AD authentication.

• The portal shows “Could not open app. Please try again later.” followed by: “The navigation target '#workzone-admin?sap-app-origin-hint=&/groups' of the app could not be resolved. 
• The issue occurs when signing in through corporate SSO (entra id). After dismissing the message, users can access workspaces/pages.

SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone 1.0

1. Open the work zone site.
2. Authenticate using corporate SSO (entra id).
3. Observe the error “Could not open app. Please try again later” followed by “The navigation target '#workzone-admin?sap-app-origin-hint=&/groups' of the app could not be resolved.”
4. Close the message and note that navigation within workspaces is possible.

Incorrect work zone URL configuration on the WorkZone configurator caused the login flow to redirect to an invalid navigation target.

Please verify the Default App configuration for your site in SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition.

You can check or modify this setting from the Site Manager by following the steps below:

1. Log in to the SAP BTP Cockpit.

2. Navigate to the subaccount where SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition is enabled.

3. Open SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition and click Go to Application.

4. Open Site Manager.

5. Select the relevant Work Zone site.

6. Click Settings (top-right corner).

7. Under Site Settings, locate the Default App parameter.

  • The correct value should be workzone-home.
