• Expected message as per Time Management Collision Resolution: TIME_COLLISION_RESOLUTION (TIME_COLLISION_RESOLUTION) is not shown in the timesheet UI
• Absence and Attendance Collision Resolution not working correctly when external time data is saved.
• Absence and Attendance Collision not working correctly when time events are saved.

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

1. Configure and allow collision between attendance and absence as explained in Collision Resolution Between Absences and Attendances
   
   
   
   
   
2. Open the time sheet and create an absence entry (for example, annual leave).
   
   
   
3. Create clock in/clock out time events that overlap with the absence.
4. Save the entries.
5. Observe that the expected collision handling between absence and attendance events does not occur.
6. Message shown 'Your time sheet entries were not successfully imported from external system. Please contact your administrator."
   

7. Go to Manage Clock In Clock Out.

8. Copy the pairing ID.
   

9. Manage Data -> External Time Data > Error
   
   

1. Check the Time Profile of the employee in question.
2. Go to Manage Data -> Time Profile
   Here you can see that Collision Grouping is not assigned.
   
   
   
   
3. Assign the correct Collision Grouping.
   
   
   
4. Reproduce the scenario again.
   
   
   
   
5. Now you see the expected message e.g.
   

   The system automatically resolved a collision between an absence on 11 May 2026 from 07:00 to 16:00 and an attendance on 11 May 2026 from 07:00 to 08:00. Please verify your time sheet, and update or cancel the absence if required.
