3755095 - Different Variable Values Displayed When Selecting "Edit Prompt" During Scheduled Publication in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• When a user selects “Edit Prompt” during the scheduling of a publication, the values displayed in the variable screen do not match the values originally entered when opening the story. 

• SAP Analytics Cloud, Enterprise Edition

1. Open a story.
2. Enter values in the variable promt screen.
3. Navigate to File → Schedule Publication.
4. Select Edit Prompt.
5. Observe that the variable screen displays different values for variables that were previously entered.

• This is currently expected behavior.
• The prompts displayed during the scheduled publication process are retrieved from the prompts saved at the store level, rather than the values initially entered when opening the story.

If users want to modify or update the prompts used for the scheduled publication, they should:

1. Open Edit Prompt within the scheduled publication.
2. Manually select or update the required prompt values before scheduling the publication.
