3755168 - Employee id generated during onboarding; request to generate or edit in manage pending hires

• The Employee ID is generated during the Onboarding process, but the user wants it to be generated during the Manage Pending Hires process.
• The user needs an option to edit the Employee ID during Manage Pending Hires to update the correct sequence for candidates with a changed joining date.
• No error messages are provided.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Move a candidate from the Recruiting system to Onboarding.
2. Observe that an Employee ID is already generated during Onboarding.
3. Attempt to edit the Employee ID during the Onboarding or Manage Pending Hires stages.

• By current system design, Employee ID is generated during Onboarding and generation or editing in Manage Pending Hires is not supported.

1. Note that generating the Employee ID during Manage Pending Hires and editing the Employee ID in Manage Pending Hires are not supported; this is a system limitation.
