3755183 - Position Dropdown Potions Overlap in Change Job and Compensation Information Via Mobile Browser

Symptom

On a mobile device using a web browser, in Take Action > Change Job and Compensation Info, selecting the Position field shows overlapping dropdown values/labels.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. On a mobile device, open a web browser (for example, Chrome).
  2. Navigate to an employee and open All Actions > Take Action (Change Job and Compensation Info).
  3. Select Job Information and enter an effective date.
  4. Open the Position field dropdown.
  5. Observe that the dropdown values/labels overlap.

Cause

A rendering/layout issue in the hybrid web layer on mobile occurs when the Position object has many searchable fields, causing the dropdown option list to overlap.

Resolution

This is a known defect. A fix is planned for the 2H 2026 release which is currently planned for preview Release October 12, 2026, and Production Release November 13–14, 2026
