• System could not determine source storage bin during staging for PMR document
• Staging method is Cross-order staging.
• Multiple stock types (F, F0, F1,F2.....) within one Warehouse number

Product: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Stage for Production app (/SCWM/STAGE).
2. Enter a warehouse, product, and production supply area (PSA) associated with a PMR.
3. Start the staging.
4. Message log can be found: System could not determine source storage bin.

Improper configuration “Maintain Warehouse Parameters for Production”.

1. Open the configuration activity "Maintain Warehouse Parameters for Production".
2. Find the stock type parameter used for sourcing stock during staging.
3. Change the stock type to match the physically available stock type (for example, set to F3 instead of F).
4. Save the configuration.
5. Run staging again in the Stage for Production app (/SCWM/STAGE) and confirm that the source storage bin is determined and the warehouse task is created.
