3755310 - Time Valuation Alert raised when the defined Attendance Quota is not exceeded yet

Symptom

Configure a time valuation to trigger alert when the Attendance Quota is exceeded.

It's observed the time valuation alert is wrongly triggered when the attendance quota is not yet exceeded. 

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
  • SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create 10 hours attendance quota for an employee.
  2. Configure the following time valuations to raise alert when the attendance quota is exceeded. 




  3. Record 1 hour overtime and observed the error message is raised unexpectedly. 

Cause

The Attendance Quota Type is not defined in the time type group above, which caused the incorrect threshold variable value. 

Resolution

Ensure the Attendance Quota Type is correctly defined in the entire Attendance Quota time valuation chain as per the SAP Community Blog Post Managing Pre-approvals using Attendance Quota in SAP SuccessFactors
