3755400 - VSaaS - "could not get ComponentVO" error is received upon selecting Start Course / Continue Course buttons on Curricula requirement course choosing window via the redesigned Curricula pages

When Start Course / Continue Course button is selected for an item within a Curricula requirement from the redesigned Curricula page > Assignments tab > Choose courses entry point, an application error is received with "Error message = could not get ComponentVO" due to the DB default time (1970 Jan 1) being sent in the request instead of the actual item revision date.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Have enableLegacyUIReplacement=true in LMS_ADMIN to grant access to the redesigned curricula pages
2. Access Learning
3. Access the redesigned Curricula Status page
4. Open a Curricula with a requirement pool in it
5. Click on the Assignments tab on the redesigned Curricula page
6. Click on Choose Courses next to the requirement
7. Click "Start Course" / "Continue Course" for any of the items you already have assigned from the pool (need to make sure they are available in your library to be able to self-assign them first)
8. An error occurs: 

   An application error has occurred. Please try again.

   If you have further questions or issues regarding this error, please provide the error details below to your support group.

   Error message = could not get ComponentVO...
   
   At the bottom in the Caused by section you will find:
   
   Could not find record *item type*, *item ID*, 1970-01-01 00:00:02.023 <---- DB default dates instead of the actual item revision date

Workaround

• Set "enableLegacyUIReplacement" to false in LMS_ADMIN config file to hide the redesigned Curricula pages from your users.

• Ask the users to navigate from their assignments > curricula requirement ILX card > Complete Requirement button > select Start Course / Continue Course from this pop-up window instead.
