3755494 - Existing Canvas Report schedules in Report Center generate output files with unexpected names when delivered via SFTP after 2605 release

After the 2605 release, existing Canvas Report schedules created in Report Center are generating files with unexpected names when delivered via SFTP, even though the schedules have not been edited after the release.

For example:

• Before release: ReportName-Component1.csv
• After release: ReportName.csv.csv

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Navigate to Report Center > View Schedules > My Schedules
2. Identify a schedule where the Last Modified Date is prior to the 2605 release
3. In the SFTP, compare file names before and after the release: 
   
   1. Before release: ReportName-Component1.csv
   2. After release: ReportName.csv.csv

The reported issue was introduced as part of recent changes delivered in the 2605 release. 

To resolve it, the engineering team will be reverting the functionality to its previous stable state (as it worked prior to 2605). Expected Behavior (Post-Reversion):

1. Users enter the File Name via Report Center > New Schedule (e.g., Test.csv).
2. A folder will be created on the SFTP server using the specified File Name: <sftp_path>/Test.csv/<list_of_reports>
3. All reports and their respective pages will be stored within this folder.

• Production: May 28, 2026
