3755501 - "Hide on Profile" and "Hide on Form" options deprecated for standard columns in Compensation worksheets

Symptom

In SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, the options "Hide this column on the Profile" and "Hide this column on the Form" may currently appear in the Design Worksheet UI Although the options may still be visible for some standard columns in the current UI and/or in the XML for some standard columns. This creates the impression that these settings can be applied to standard fields in the same way as custom columns. However, this behavior is inconsistent and expected to change in a future release.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

Resolution

These options are intended only for custom columns in Compensation worksheets.

Although the options may still be visible for some standard columns in the current UI and/or in the XML, they are not supported for standard fields and should not be used for configuration purposes. The visibility of these options for standard columns will be removed in an upcoming release to align the UI with the supported behavior.

For proper use of "Hide on Profile" and "Hide on Form" functionality, the column must be configured as a custom column. Standard fields should not rely on these settings for visibility control.
