3755505 - How can an SAP Analytics Cloud administrator track actions such as opening Data Analyzer links or files with Excel Add-In?

• Actions completed on objects within SAP Analytics Cloud such as saving, and modifying are tracked in the activity logs along with user logons
• Though the system tracks the user logging onto the SAC system opening a Data Analyzer or Excel Add-In document is not necessarily logged unless something is being modified
• For example if a user opens a Data-Analyzer link the user's logon to SAC is logged, but the accessing of the Data-Analyzer is not logged unless the object is saved

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.4

• Logon to SAP Analytics Cloud
• View a Data Insight but do not modify or save it
• Check the Activity logs and notice that accessing the Data Insight is not logged

• Accessing tools are not currently logged in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Activity logs record actions such as user logons and object changes/modifications
