3755512 - Planned Working Time Story reports issue

Symptom

When running or editing Story reports with the main domain using Planned Working Time, the following issues may be encountered:

  • "Model information cannot be found."
  • Timeout error: "The request is taking longer than expected and has timed out. Please contact your administrator for assistance."  

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to report center
  2. Create or run a story report using Planned working time as a driving table
  3. We saving the query or running a existing story report, the Model information cannot be found error appears

Cause

For Planned Working Time Story reports, this is expected behavior due to the volume of data. Please proceed with the steps below:
  • Go to Manage Data > Time Management Configuration > Time_Configuration.
  • The field “Generate Planned Working Time Data for Past Period (in months)” needs to be set to 1 to 3 months instead of the default value of 12 months
