3755514 - IBP: Odata call returns no response and snapshot stays not extractable

Symptom

  • When invoking the Calculate Snapshot action for a transactional snapshot via Odata v4, no response is returned to the client and the snapshot does not reach status "Extractable".
  • Connection ends after about some minutes; HTTP request terminated due to timeout.
  • System log entries: "Delete ABAP session ... Execution was canceled (Softcancel)"; "Reason for Soft Cancel: DP_SOFTCANCEL_ICM_PROCESSING_TIMEOUT".
  • Application log entries: "The check on the job parameter failed. Job cannot continue." and "PLANNING_UNIT ... state: FAIL".
