3755524 - application error '-infinity%' when saving edits to an analytics report data source; changes save but error appears

Symptom

  • An error occurs when attempting to edit a data source in a story report.
  • The error occurs after making any changes.
  • The error message displayed is: [Application Error]:"-Infinity%" is of type string, expected sap.ui.core.Percentage for property "splitterPosition" of Element sap.ui.commons.Splitter#__splitter2 (or similar splitter id).
  • Changes are saved successfully despite the error.
  • Browser console logs may show: Uncaught (in promise) Error: [FailedAction - Action: viz.v1.user.updateStylesUserAction … - Error: Store.UnhandledError/Uncaught exception while handling saga] [FailedAction - Action: viz.v1.header.setHeaderAction … - Error: Store.UnhandledError/Unhandled failure during external write operation.]
