Symptom

Some accounts are not displayed on the Map view.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Customers > Accounts OWL.
  2. Switch to the map view.
  3. Search for a working user's id and confirm the pin is shown.
  4. Search for affected users' ids; the pins are not displayed in the Map view.

Cause

A possible cause is that: Invalid or outdated postal codes were stored for affected addresses, causing the geocoding service to return no results.

Resolution

  1. Identify affected customers that do not appear in the map view.
  2. Validate each affected address’s postal code.
  3. Update the customer master data with a valid postal code that matches the street, district, and city.
  4. Save the changes and allow the system to re‑geocode the address (or trigger a re‑geocode if available).
  5. Reopen the map view and confirm that the pins are now visible.
  6. If postal code validity cannot be confirmed, avoid passing an uncertain postal code.
