3755648 - ABAP dump when trying to enter batch for a subcontracting component in inbound delivery

During the subcontracting inbound process, when the user attempts to enter a batch for a subcontracting component (SC Component), the system throws a dump:

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a subcontracting purchase order with components.
2. Create the corresponding inbound delivery.
3. Open the inbound delivery and navigate to the “SC Components” section.
4. ABAP runtime error (dump) occurs.

Plant information is missing for the subcontracting component material in the purchase order, preventing the system from determining the Material & Plant key.

1. Open the subcontracting purchase order.
2. For each subcontracting component item, maintain the correct plant value.
3. Save the purchase order.
4. Reprocess the inbound delivery and enter the batch for the component again.
