3755689 - Analytics mashup: widget id dropdown is empty in mashup authoring - SAP sales and service cloud version 2

• When creating a new analytics mashup, the Widget ID dropdown is empty and no items are listed.
• The Widget ID is presumed to refer to widgets from analytical stories.
• Clarification requested on the process to make analytical story widgets appear in the dropdown.

• Analytics for SAP Sales/Service Cloud

1. Open Mashup Authoring.
2. Create a new Analytics Mashup.
3. Open the Widget ID dropdown and observe it is not populated.

• The capability is a restricted feature that is not enabled by a simple feature flag and requires a backend change by development.
• Special authorization is required for users who will author/create composable widgets; without this authorization, the Widget ID list remains empty.

1. Confirm that Analytics (stories) is configured and that analytical stories exist in the tenant.
2. Request enablement of the restricted composable widgets capability for analytics mashups from support. Create a case to CEC-CRM-ANA and involve dev team.
3. Ask Customer to provide with a list of users who require authoring access for composable widgets (include each user’s email) so special authorization can be granted.
4. Allow time for backend processing by development to complete the enablement and authorization.
5. After enablement, have the authorized users sign out and sign back in, then return to Mashup Authoring and create an Analytics Mashup.
6. Open the Widget ID dropdown and verify that the analytical story widgets are now listed.

Important Notes:

• This is a restricted feature. Customers are required to create a case for us to enable it.
• Please ensure that you clearly communicate the activation timeline of 1 week, as this requires backend processing.
• This is not a feature-flag enablement. It involves a code change that the development team must carry out through an incident raised for them.
• Also it is not recommended to add more then 5 widgets at homepage.
