3755784 - Current administrative changes are not shown for Kazakhstan when using Geo Map chart in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• When using an SAC Geochoropleth Map chart for Kazakhstan, the new administrative changes made in 2022 are not visible on the map.
• The new administrative changes have split up and renamed multiple regions across the country, the maps are still showing how the country were before 2022.
• The Geo Map in SAC is outdated for Kazakhstan.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.9.0

1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud.
2. Open Stories, create a new one or open an existing one.
3. In edit mode, under 'Insert', select '+', then Other, then Geo Map.
4. In the Geo Map widget, zoom into Kazakhstan and observe that the new administrative changes are not up to date around the country.

• The Geo Map widget is based on a Base Map that is provided and maintained by ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute).
• ESRI have not updated the map in the mentioned area yet.
