3755991 - Error "The specified partner system cannot be reached using RFC" in /SAPAPO/CCR when attempting to execute comparison with selected remote system

Symptom

  • Error while starting comparison in transaction /SAPAPO/CCR with remote system: "The specified partner system XXXX cannot be reached using RFC" (Message No. /SAPAPO/CIF044).
  • Function Module RFCPING returns with message: "No authorization to log on as a Trusted System (L-RC=1 T-RC=2)."
  • transaction SU53 displays 'Authorization check not successful' for Object S_RFCACL with the user set up in SM59 for RFC communication.
