What are the current expected known behaviors of Custom fields that are Duplicate of Standard Fields?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors LMS

Cause

  • Search Selector: When a custom field is a duplicate of a standard filed in search selector , only the standard field cane be enabled/disabled, even when selecting the custom field. 

Resolution

  • Search Selector: This is a known behavior. There are two resolutions here if you are wanting to utilize both fields. 
    • Change the Custom Field Name to something other than the Standard Field Name
    • Change the label of the Standard Field to something other than the custom field.
