Symptom
What is included in the "Uncategorized" category from Manage Data Storage page.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM
Resolution
The “Uncategorized” section under Admin Center → Manage Data Storage represents data that is stored in the system database but is not mapped to the predefined data categories displayed in the user interface (for example: Recruiting, Platform, Employee Central, etc.).
As described in the Help Guide Data Included in Different Data Types | SAP Help Portal, the “Uncategorized” category includes all remaining SAP HANA tables that are not explicitly classified into any of the standard functional categories.
Because each customer environment can differ significantly in terms of Enabled modules, System configuration, Feature usage, etc, the exact content of the “Uncategorized” category is not fixed and may vary from one instance to another.
Examples of Data Potentially Included (The following are illustrative examples only and do not represent a complete or exhaustive list):
- Job request and job response data
- MDF (Metadata Framework) data and MDF audit data
- Learning (LMS)-related data
- System configuration and technical data
- Performance forms data (comments, ratings, and elements)
- Continuous Performance Management / Feedback-related data
- Other backend or system-generated tables not assigned to a specific module
Product Support: Check internal memo.
