3756129 - Edit and History buttons not working when selected in people profile - SAP successfactors employee central

Symptom

Edit and History buttons do not work when selected, refreshing the page restore the functionality.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
    • People Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access an employee profile and confirm the Edit button works.
  2. Navigate to a different employee’s profile.
  3. Select Edit (or History) and observe that nothing happens.
  4. Refresh the page and observe that the buttons start working again.

Resolution

Engineering has confirmed the fix for 2H2026 release. 

As a workaround, please refresh the page when the Edit option is not available.
