3756233 - Cannot type in continuous feedback popup when opening from email link and error occurs when closing the popup

Symptom

  • When a user opens a Continuous Feedback request via the link in the notification email, the home page loads with a feedback request pop-up, but text cannot be entered in the answers.
  • Closing the pop-up reveals an error: "We can’t load https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@openui5/sap.ui.core@1.120.17/src/sap/ui/core/cldr/en.json because it violates the Content Security Policy directive: connect-src. Please contact your system administrator or Technical Support for assistance."
  • Accessing the feedback request directly from the home page tile/card allows typing and submission.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Continuous Performance management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. From the home page (preview), send a “Request Feedback” to another user using the quick action
  2. Have the recipient open the Continuous Feedback notification via the link in the email
  3. Observe the feedback request pop-up on the home page
  4. Select one of the feedback requests so the questions screen appears
  5. Try to type answers; input fields are not editable
  6. Close the popup and observe that error shows up.

Cause

Content Security Policy (CSP) is enabled and blocks network requests to external date localization assets (OpenUI5 CLDR JSON), causing the feedback pop-up to fail initialization and preventing text entry.

Resolution

Fix for this issue will be fixed through patch on June 4th.

Workaround:

Do not open the feedback from the email link instead close the pop-up and respond via the Continuous Feedback tile/card on the home page.
