3756290 - Self-termination/Separation action fails with application error

Symptom

Employees cannot perform the Separation (self-termination) action in the Termination UI of Latest People Profile.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Termination UI

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in as an affected user.
  2. Choose Take Action from profile.
  3. Click on Terminate action.
  4. Observe that an application error is displayed and the action cannot be completed.

Cause

Resolution

  • Please make sure user has permission for General User Permission -> User Search. For Latest People profile, User Search permission is required as mentioned in Guide.
